Whether he’s coaching the world’s finest heroes or diving into advanced studies in operational fitness, Ernie’s dedication is evident in everything he does. Throughout the years he has developed an integrated approach to training hard and maintaining wellness. His infectious enthusiasm and deep knowledge inspire others to stay fit and prepared for whatever challenges life may throw their way through a “Struggle better” mindset.

ROB SIMPSON

M/R CO-FOUNDER

Rob has been a passionate supporter and contributor to Mission Ready since day one. He is a devoted family man and lives on a small homestead farm in rural Mississippi. Rob is a writer and creative thinker who provides his work to the M/R blog. Rob recently retired from the US Coast Guard after more than 20 years on active duty where he served as an Aviation Survival Technician (AST). Even though he is no longer on active duty, Rob maintains his readiness through his passion for gritty strength work, kettlebell training, and running. Rob has completed multiple ultramarathons, triathlons, and running events. Recently, however, he has shifted gears and traded long runs and bike rides for time in the squat rack. Rob represents M/R through his written word and passion for helping people reach their full potential.
